Description:
Angela Wakefield’s Twilight Reflections is a bold, expressive miniature that captures the essence of dusk settling over water. Executed with rich, gestural palette knife strokes, this piece pulses with the energy of a fleeting moment—where coral-toned clouds drift over cool, glassy blues, and inky darkness begins to creep in from the edges.
There’s a raw physicality to the application of paint, giving the surface texture and depth, while the intimate scale draws the viewer in. Both moody and serene, it speaks to Wakefield’s ability to translate landscape and emotion into abstraction.
This collectible miniature belongs to an ongoing series that merges contemporary abstraction with environmental atmosphere—ideal for collectors of British contemporary art and lovers of meditative coastal scenes.

From the artist’s studio, UK.
